Sébastien Segers, in 2006, wins a competition organised by “L’Oréal Prestige & Collection International” in association with Armani for designing and building a spa. Located on the fifth floor of the Armani Tower, designed by Massimiliano Fuksas, in the elegant district of Ginza in Tokyo, the Project is meant to be an Ambassador of the Italian spirit in Japan. The architect adapt himself to the requirements of Georgio Armani to keep the consistency of the brand image.

He therefore works with the Giorgio Armani spa architectural studio, with the merchandising and marketing team of “L’Oréal” and with the representatives of Armani in Tokyo.

The quest of a balance for the Project is the main line for Sébastien Segers when he studies the fitting of three luxury suites in a relatively small area. He creates simple and plain spaces, but nevertheless he recesses
the numerous functions required.

The Architect choses materials that he likes to blend: black marble, travertine, ivory leather tiles with brass frames, black and gold lacquer, 5x5 millimetres ceramics. Everything is custom made, from the reception stone to the massage bed
